FAQs

Giving Wheel

It takes financial resources to accomplish the work God has called Gold Creek to do in this region and around the world. Your tithes and offerings fund the daily operations of the church, support ministries and events in our community and abroad, and ultimately enable us to steward those around us, sharing the Good News with our neighbors.

One of the three core values at Gold Creek is Contribute. When you contribute, spiritual growth happens and you find your purpose and meaning in life. Everything we have is a gift from God, so by giving back to God you honor and worship Him in obedience to the Scriptures.

The word “tithe” means tenth or 10%. Tithing is a biblical principle that represents giving the first ten percent of your income back to God. When you tithe, you are putting God first in your life and trusting Him to provide for all of your needs. An offering is described as anything given beyond the 10%.
